Between the 8th and the 10th of May  it took place in Pordenone the 1st edition of the exhibition 104 – The Caregiving Expo. It focused on the care and assistance of elderly people, fragile individuals and people with disabilities.

The name of the event itself recalls the Law 104, fundamental legislation for the assistance field, the social integration and the rights of people with disabilities. As a 1st edition, 104 – The Caregiving Expo will surely become a the fair will become a cornerstone of industry events.

With a variety of exhibitors and several moments dedicated to workshops and conferences, the fair gave space to the different realities with innovative solutions.

What caught the interest of the visitors, but not only, was our proposal for the monitoring of the person. In a context in which Italy is classified as the 2nd oldest Country in the World, the familiar net available to take care of elderly is decreasing and the reduction of healthcare workers qualified within NHS’crisis, , there is a strong need to find solutions that can facilitate the current and future setup.

Among our devices, iSensor and iSensor Pro are two wearable devices dedicated to monitoring.

iSensor is a bluetooth smartwatch that allows to monitor different vital parameters such as glycemia, saturation, body temeprature, blood pressure, hearth beat, uric acid and blood fat.

iSensor Pro is a smartwatch with SIM integrated that, other than automatically detect Hearth Beat, Blood Pressure, Saturation and Body Temperature, allows an immediate activation of an SOS call in case of fall and the GPS position.

The participation at the 1st edition of 104 – The Caregiving Expo meant for us and important opportunity of discussion and visibility within a sector that is rapidly growing. In a Country that is getting older and the human resources of the NHS are decreasing, the role of technology became fundamental to guarantee safety, authonomy and dignity for fragile people.

iSensor and iSensor Pro are conceived with this specific goal: offer concrete, reliable and accessible solutions. The challenge is big, but the road is in front of us.
